“SENIOR CARE ASSISTANT” PROGRAM – UK
(program for medical nurses and doctors ONLY)
WHAT IS SENIOR CARE ASSISTANT (SCA)
SENIOR CARE ASSISTANT (SCA) is a work position, designated for medical nurses and doctors with work experience of 3 years minimum, willing to perform employment in private Care Homes or Medical Centers in the United Kingdom under Business and Commercial scheme and employment contract for the period of 1-4 years, administered by Work Permits and Home Office (United Kingdom).
MAIN ROLE OF THE SENIOR CARE ASSISTANT
To provide assistance to the Home Leader using a resident centered approach to care and to assist the residents in the home to develop their skills and independence in all aspects of care. This will include leisure, social, physical, psychological and emotional support. As a senior member of staff the Senior Care Assistant will be expected to participate in the rota with the Home Leader and take responsibility for residents and other staff during the shift.
WHO CAN QUALIFY TO PARTICIPATE
In order to qualify and to participate in the program the qualifications and skills of the person (candidate) should be in line with the criteria shown below:
- Medical nurses and Doctors are required to have work experience at least 3 years in the medical field (in the past 3 years!!) under college or university education, equivalent to NVQ 3 or HND level (for UK).
- English speaking level should be equivalent to INTERMEDIATE or FLUENT. Work experience in chidren’s hospital WILL NOT be approved, as suitable for candidates willing to work as SCAs !
REQUIRED DOCUMENTS TO APPLY FOR WORK PERMIT
Completed online registration (CV in English)
Copy from international passport, valid at least 1 year-minimum
2 recent photos – 1 passport size and 1 whole size
Copy from diploma – for medical nurse (college), for doctor (university)
Reference letters from current or previous employers from the past 3 years * (minimum)
Copy from academic records (transcript)
Certificate for competition of English courses and hours (if any)
Certificates for any professional qualification (if any)
Clear police record the town of residency with validation of 6 months
A medical certificate, translated into English. There has to be a special format for Work Abroad.
For the ladies, that have changed their names, no matter whether they are divorced, there should be a Certificate for Marital Status.
* Presented references (2) for the past 3 years (minimum) should be made by the sample one, stating the start and end date of the employment with signututre and stamp from the current or previous employer of the candidate. All the documents has to be scanned (readible) on JPEG or PDF file and send additionally by e-mail !!
PLACE TO WORK and ACCOMMODATION
The employment is performed at residential or care homes in the United Kingdom for the period of 1 year-minimum under preliminary signed Employment contract with the prospective employer for the position of Senior Care Assistant. The accommodation is arranged by the employer and is paid by the prospective candidate (employee) at low cost rates. If there is no available accommodation at employer's premises, the candidate can rent a flat, which rate varies according to standard and geographical location of the place. Usually the price to rent a flat varies between 50-80 GBP per week per person if shared by two people.
WORKING HOURS AND SALARY
For the provided employment position as a Senior Care Assistant the working hours may vary from 37.5 to 40 hours per week. Any additional working hours could be performed upon overtime payment, but employer reserve the right to increase or decrease the weekly hours according to the business demands and employment legislation in the country, administered by National Minimum Wage (NMW). The monthly salary for the position of Senior Care Assistant varies between 5.50-6.00 GBP per hour or 960-1000 GBP per month ($ 1'900).
PROCESSING TIME FOR WORK PERMIT
The processing time for obtaining a Work Permit with validation from 30-60 months, varies from 2-4 weeks for candidates who successfully meet the requirements and criteria for the above work program. At some circumstances the processing time for issuance of Work Permit in the behalf of the prospective candidate (employee) may take longer than the above stated time.
COMMISSION AND FEES
DANFIL COMPANY LTD will provide a lawful services to the prospective candidate (employee) referred from our partners abroad as creating an e-file professional employment application, finding and securing employment under preliminary requested position and will provide support in the behalf of obatin a work permit and visa.
For subscribing (refundable in the case which the work permit is will not be issued) - £ 500 (GBP)
For locating employer and obtaining a work permit - £ 500 (GBP), refundable if the candidates will not pass the work visa.
- the fees for subscribing (500 GBP) will not be refunded if the candidates will not obtain the visa at the U.K Embassy.
The fee for the visa will be paid at the Embassy, when the candidates will go for obtain the work visa - £ 90 (GBP).
The flight ticket will be paid by the candidates after they obtain the work visa from the Embassy.
PAYMENT PROCEDURES
Payments and Deposit:
Payment is divided on two (2) easy steps, following the policy of the agency “no payment up front” and is as follow:
The candidates subscribe and pay to the agency the fee of £ 500 GBP in advance for location employer and obtaining a work permits (refundable in the case which the work permit is will not be issued).
After Work Permit is issued and original is presented to the candidate - £ 500 GBP (refundable).
After Work Permit (WP) is issued to the prospective candidate (employee), but after they applyed to the Embassy for receiving the visa, does not pass the work visa at some circumstances the agency refunds the amount of £ 500.
After Visa is issued – the candidates will book the flight ticket to U.K
